About Jim ~
Dr. James S. Vuocolo, President of Life Coach Consulting, is a native of Basking Ridge, New Jersey and has lived in Redlands, California since 1994.
Jim graduated with honors from Bloomfield College and Drew University (with a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry in Administration/ Practical Theology) and was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1979.
Jim has taught many credit and non-credit courses in coaching and marketing, philosophy, religion, personal growth and career development. He is a certified mid-life strategist focusing on personal and career transition, and is the author of Practice Made Perfect: All You Need to Make Money As A Coach (Life Coach Press, 2003), in addition to several other eBooks and numerous articles.
Jim is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the coaching profession. He is a charter member of the International Coach Federation and Coachville, and was among the first group of Master Certified Coaches in the world. He is also a Certified Executive Coach with the World Association of Business Coaches, and a Certified Life Coach.
Jim has assisted in training thousands of coaches internationally since 1996 as a member of the faculty at Coach University, and is a Certified as a Mentor Coach with Coachville and CoachU. His passion is making certain that coaches attain the level of personal and professional success they desire. In 1999, he was recruited to join the core faculty at The Institute for Life Coach Training where he presently serves as Director of Practice Development in addition to running his own International coaching, consulting and training business.
As a full time Coach & Mid-Life Strategist, Jim partners with busy professionals and executives who want to attain greater fulfillment and results in life and in work. Jim adheres to the Code of Ethics of the International Coach Federation. Either party may terminate the Coaching Agreement within the first 30 days for any reason, upon which any unused portion of the coaching retainer shall be refunded, minus a 10% administrative fee.
